West Street Vineyard is a family-owned, family-run restaurant in the Essex countryside. At West Street, great local sustainable wine and food is championed in a relaxed setting for all the family to enjoy. The West Street ethos is to offer the ultimate in English fine wines combined with fabulous local food in a contemporary and environmentally friendly wine barn, to create a memorable experience with family and friends.
West Street offers a venue for a relaxed lunch, events , wine tastings afternoon tea, dinner and much more. The ethos of West Street is to bring a new world wine experience to the Essex countryside. West Street also offers many events throughout the year, which celebrate other countries wines and foods in the same relaxed atmosphere. The venue was inspired by the Mohan family travels to the wine regions of South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
West Street wines are available to taste at lunch or during one of our expert lead wine tastings. West Street wines are also available from the vineyard shop to take home and enjoy. The Wine School at West Street Vineyard offers a relaxed approach to learning about wine in a unique setting, nowhere else in the country can you learn about wines on a working vineyard. If you love wine and want to find out more about the grape varieties used, how the vines are tended, how wine is made, what makes one wine region distinct from another, then West Street Vineyard is the place to learn. We limit the numbers in our classes so that we can offer a more individual approach.
We host all sorts of events such as business meetings, conferences, exhibitions as well as weddings and private parties. We can accommodate over 50 people in both our private dining rooms. On our ground floor, over looking the vineyard we can easily accommodate 70 guests for a sit down meal and over 120 for a buffet. On beautiful sunny days and evenings how lovely is it for you and your guests to spill out onto the terrace overlooking the vines. Whether it is a small or large celebration, each one is special. Our team of experienced chefs can provide personalised, tailored menus to suite your budget and requirements.
