Guildhall in Winter

Finchingfield Guildhall is a beautifully restored 15th Century building set in the picturesque village of Finchingfield in rural North Essex.

First built in 1470 it has been a centrepiece of the village through the centuries. It comprises a first floor double height oak beamed Guildroom, a ground floor interactive Museum and the village Library. Unusually for such a building it also has a fully accessible lift. There is also a small but fully equipped kitchen. The venue is used for a wide range of community events and is available for hire. It is a wonderful atmospheric venue for parties and is very suitable for small wedding receptions.

The premises have an alcohol and music licence but is not licensed for weddings.

Currently closed because of Covid restrictions.
